No. It’s a high-density medical-grade PTFE ribbon built to stay intact under pressure, so it resists shredding, even on rough fillings or crowns.

3) What’s it made of? Is it PFAS-free?

It’s a medical-grade PTFE flat ribbon coated in a natural beeswax and microcrystalline wax blend, and it’s BPA-free. PTFE is a fluoropolymer, so if you specifically want a PTFE- and PFAS-free floss, our Twist and PuffClean flosses are made from coated polyester and nylon instead.

4) Does it have a flavor?

Yes. It’s infused with natural mint and xylitol for a light, fresh finish that isn’t overpowering.

5) How long does a 3-pack last?
