I have a small mouth and always bought kids brushes, cartoon characters and all. These have a compact head that reaches my back molars but a proper full size handle. Why is this combination so rare??
Pregnancy made my gums swell and bleed at the sight of a toothbrush. These let me keep brushing properly through it without wincing. My OB and dentist both approved continuing as normal thanks to the softness. Postpartum now and not switching back.
first use i genuinely checked if id already put toothpaste on because i couldnt feel scratching. teeth still felt properly clean after. sorcery. pink one obviously
Everything about this brush is soft. The bristles, the color, the whole vibe. I switched from an electric because it made my gums recede I guess, or at least a little painful, but this manual one has been perfect
I was using an electric for years and my gums kept getting worse. Switched to these soft bristles and the difference is like night and day. Also the blush pink is gorgeous
I stopped using my electric and switched to this. My gums were getting sensitive from the vibrations and these soft bristles are much kinder. The pink is a lovely bonus
I used an electric for years but was getting gum recession. Switched to this and my gums are recovering. The soft bristles clean without all the aggressive vibrating. Sometimes simpler is better
I switched from Colgate extra soft and the bristle quality on these is much finer. You can actually see and feel the difference. My gums are less irritated since the switch.
The pink shade is really elegant, more like a dusty rose than a bright pink. Looks nice in my bathroom. The brush quality matches the aesthetics too, soft bristles and that angular handle that everyone mentions. It does take a couple uses to adjust but then its really natural
I keep buying the pink. Tried other colors once and went right back. Something about this shade just makes the morning better. The brush quality is consistent every time which matters more than the color obviously
Pretty brush, good quality. Bristles are properly soft. The handle is a different shape than im used to, angular instead of round. Its growing on me but i can see how some people might not love it right away
I used to use a kids toothbrush because adult ones were too harsh on my gums. These are the first adult brushes that are gentle enough for me. The slim head reaches everywhere and the blush color is so much nicer than a cartoon character brush lol.
Pretty brush, good quality. Bristles are very gentle. The angular handle felt unusual for the first couple times but then i actually started to prefer it over the standard round shape. Gives you more control. Taking one star off only because id like a 6-pack option.
The blush pink is a really refined shade, not that bright barbie pink you see everywhere. It looks elegant on my bathroom shelf. And the brush itself is excellent, soft bristles, slim head, comfortable grip once you get used to the handle shape.
Bought the pink ones because they match my bathroom and was honestly surprised by how good the brush actually is. Super soft bristles that still clean effectively. The handle grip is really comfortable too.
Nice toothbrush with lovely color. Bristles are very soft and gentle. Cleans well without any gum irritation. Only reason for 4 stars is the bristles seem to splay a little quicker than i expected, but i replace every 3 months anyway so its not a big deal.
Gorgeous pink color and excellent quality. The bristles are so fine and gentle on my sensitive gums. Love that each brush comes individually wrapped in a nice paper box. Already ordered a backup set.
No. Extra-soft is what most dentists recommend. The trick is to let the bristles do the work instead of pressing hard. The 3,000+ micro-tapered 0.15 mm bristles are fine enough to gently slip along the gumline and between teeth, yet firm enough to lift plaque.
2) How often should I replace my toothbrush?
Every 2 to 3 months, or sooner if the bristles start to splay or after you’ve been ill. That works out at four brushes a year for one person.
3) Are these good for sensitive or receding gums?
Yes. That’s exactly what they’re built for. The extra-soft tapered tips flex along the gumline for a comfortable clean without the scratchy feel of medium bristles. Brush gently at a 45° angle and let the brush do the work.
4) I use an electric brush. Why keep a manual one?
Think of it as your gentle backup, ideal for travel, midday touch-ups, or tender-gum days. Many customers keep both, and some switch to Tonochi full-time for the softer feel.
5) What are the bristles and handle made of? Are they safe?
Extra-soft 0.15 mm tapered PBT bristles on a BPA-free, curved non-slip handle. Everything is designed for safe daily use, and the box is recyclable paper.
6) Can children use these?
These Max brushes are sized for adults. For little mouths, take a look at our Tonochi Kids Soft Toothbrush, which has the same extra-soft bristles with a smaller head and an easy-grip handle.
