Comfort is 10 out of 10, my sensitive gums have never been happier. But the bristles start splaying around the 6 week mark with twice daily brushing, where firmer brushes last me like 3 months. Since you get 4 in a pack the math still works out okay, but Id happily pay more for the same softness with better bristle memory.
the triangle handle just sits right in the hand?? cant explain it. bristles soft, colors cute, but the handle is why i reordered. also it stands out among my roommates six identical white brushes
Good brush. Bristles are soft and the orange looks nice on the counter. Only reason im not giving 5 is i wish the handle had a bit more grip texture when wet
The orange is a warm, sophisticated color. Not childish at all. And the brush is genuinely soft. My gums feel better since switching from my old medium bristle brush
Got the orange as a birthday gift from a friend who knows i love that color. I was like huh toothbrushes for my bday? But the brush turned out to be genuinely good, not just a novelty. My gums love it and I like the colors too of course
Added this to my order on a whim because i already had the blue set and wanted to try another color. Same great brush, different vibe. Orange feels warmer and more cheerful.
The sunset orange is a really unique warm color. Not something you see in the toothbrush aisle. Brush quality is just as good as any other color in this range
The orange stands out in the best way. I get comments about it from people who come over which is funny because its just a toothbrush. But it does look cool and the quality backs it up.
The color drew me in but the quality keeps me buying. Soft bristles, good reach, comfortable grip. I switched from my electric because it was too harsh and this is perfect.
Nice brush, cool color. Solid quality all around. Nothing bad to say really, just feels like a normal good soft toothbrush. 4 stars because its good not because anything is wrong.
Orange was my second choice after pink was out of stock. Now i actually prefer it. It pops more. The brush quality is great, soft bristles that dont splay fast.
My partner has the blue and i have the orange. We look like a sports team in the bathroom and i love it. The brush is genuinely one of the softest ive tried, my gums dont feel raw after brushing anymore
Got the orange because i wanted something different. The color is gorgeous and warm. But honestly its the bristles that won me over. So gentle on my gums but still get the job done. Already told my friends about it.
The sunset orange is unlike any toothbrush color ive seen. Looks amazing on the counter. And the bristles are phenomenally soft. My periodontist told me to get the gentlest brush possible and this is it.
Nice brush with a unique color. Bristles are very soft which is great for my receding gums. Handle is comfortable and the head is compact. Would have liked a slightly firmer option but for sensitive mouths this is perfect.
Nice brush with a cool color. Bristles are extra soft as advertised. Good for sensitive gums. The handle grip works well. Only wish is that more people knew about this color option, it deserves more love.
Sunset orange was calling my name and I'm glad I listened. Gorgeous warm color and the brush quality is outstanding. Bristles are incredibly fine and gentle. Perfect daily brush for anyone with gum sensitivity.
orange might seem like a weird toothbrush color but trust me it looks fire. and the brush is legit the softest thing ever. my gums thanked me immediately
I specifically wanted the orange because it matches my bathroom aesthetic and I'm so glad I did. But beyond the color, this is the best manual toothbrush I've used. The bristles are incredibly fine and gentle. No irritation at all.
Nice brush, cool color. Bristles are genuinely extra soft. The handle is ergonomic and easy to grip. Good quality overall. Would love to see more sizes available but happy with what I got.
No. Extra-soft is what most dentists recommend. The trick is to let the bristles do the work instead of pressing hard. The 3,000+ micro-tapered 0.15 mm bristles are fine enough to gently slip along the gumline and between teeth, yet firm enough to lift plaque.
2) How often should I replace my toothbrush?
Every 2 to 3 months, or sooner if the bristles start to splay or after you’ve been ill. That works out at four brushes a year for one person.
3) Are these good for sensitive or receding gums?
Yes. That’s exactly what they’re built for. The extra-soft tapered tips flex along the gumline for a comfortable clean without the scratchy feel of medium bristles. Brush gently at a 45° angle and let the brush do the work.
4) I use an electric brush. Why keep a manual one?
Think of it as your gentle backup, ideal for travel, midday touch-ups, or tender-gum days. Many customers keep both, and some switch to Tonochi full-time for the softer feel.
5) What are the bristles and handle made of? Are they safe?
Extra-soft 0.15 mm tapered PBT bristles on a BPA-free, curved non-slip handle. Everything is designed for safe daily use, and the box is recyclable paper.
6) Can children use these?
These Max brushes are sized for adults. For little mouths, take a look at our Tonochi Kids Soft Toothbrush, which has the same extra-soft bristles with a smaller head and an easy-grip handle.
